Happy Labor Day friends, I hope you are all enjoying some cooler weather like we are here in Kansas City. This weekend has been just perfect...we got to spend time with some friends, go to the zoo with the kiddos, and finish up some projects around casa de Hanson. I recently did a guest bedroom makeover for the sweetest couple and wanted to share it with you all. They actually wanted it to be a surprise which I absolutely loved! A bit nerve-racking, but so much fun! We sat down beforehand and discussed their style, likes and dislikes, and of course the budget. They wanted their guest to feel welcomed and cozy but for the room to also have a feminine touch. It's such a romantic little getaway you guys and it totally makes me want to redo our space now. Ha! Hubby already put the brakes on that one!
Here are a couple before pictures of the room.
And here are the afters...
I absolutely love this prayer by the lovely Aedriel Moxley. We also have this in our guest room, I feel like it's the perfect prayer to start and end your day. You can find her work at her Etsy shop, House of Belonging LLC.
Well, what do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the room so feel free to leave a comment below. I will also leave you guys a source list, but if you have any questions I would be glad to answer them. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by, till next time...
Lindsey
