Well hello there! Sorry I've been MIA for a few weeks, we've been busting our butts trying to get this basement/office remodel done. There is definite progress being made, we now have a new wall up, almost done painting, and the granite guy came today to measure for our bar countertops! (insert excited face emoji) The new wall is now concealing our new office/guest room. We wanted a space that we could both work out of that would be both masculine and feminine at the same time. So I came up with "Industrial Chic", sounds like a compromise to me. :) Truth be told, I like masculine design so I was pretty happy with this plan. Plus it gave me an opportunity to use Navy which I've been really wanting to use somewhere.
Here are some Pinterest pics that got me inspired.

I love the idea of using butcher block like this. It would give us plenty of room to spread out (aka not drive each other crazy). ;)
We are needing a bed in this room because we have out of town guest often. We wanted to do a sleeper sofa instead of a bed so that we could have a space to chill and read (or nap) the rest of the time. And it's a huge space saver too.

Here is my inspiration board for our new office, I'm so excited to show you all the finished product. It's about 50% done so hopefully it won't be too long.
Now, I'm off to finish some painting. Thanks for stopping by friends!!! :)
